Supply Chain Manager responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics operations across multiple regions.
The role manages supplier relationships, inventory levels, delivery performance, and cost reduction strategies.
Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation
- The contract role pays $55-$100 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Negotiate supplier contracts for favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor warehouse inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize excess holding costs.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams on demand forecasts.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is required.
- Proficiency in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization tools is necessary.
- Strong analytical skills are required to assess supplier performance, costs, and risks.
- Knowledge of transportation management and customs compliance is required.
- Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles is required.
