Job Summary
Lead procurement and supply chain operations from Dubai, UAE.
Manage sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, inventory planning, and procurement performance.
Drive cost-effective procurement strategies and supply chain best practices while maintaining quality and operational requirements.
Travel Requirement
- Open to travel approximately 60–70% of the time to support and visit company-operated branches across the MEA region.
Job Duties
- Liaise with key company employees to determine product and service needs.
- Perform procurement activities including pre-qualification, supplier negotiations, contract preparation, and tender management.
- Delegate tasks and supervise buyers across departments.
- Identify improvement areas to drive performance and business results.
- Lead a team of buyers and delegate tasks across departments when necessary.
- Manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement.
- Develop relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners.
- Create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
Background and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a direct managerial role.
- Mandatory Oil & Gas experience involving rotating equipment, drilling equipment, machine shops, workshops, or oil equipment manufacturing.
- Experience in management and supervision.
- Financial and numerical skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation, networking, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of supplier and third-party management software.
