Role Description
This full-time remote role oversees end-to-end supply chain operations supporting construction projects efficiently and cost-effectively.
The role manages demand planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure materials and equipment are available on time and within budget.
The position coordinates with suppliers and internal project teams, prepares reports, and supports strategic decisions for current and future projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze supply and demand data and coordinate with suppliers and internal project teams.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor performance against key metrics.
- Optimize supply chain processes and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Implement best practices to improve reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong demand planning and forecasting skills, with experience aligning material requirements to project timelines.
- Proficiency in supply management and procurement, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
- Experience in inventory management, including stock optimization, waste reduction, and accurate record keeping.
- Advanced analytical skills for data-driven decisions, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain management systems and strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of construction industry supply chain practices is an advantage.
