- Ensure externally provided products, processes, and services conform to customer, regulatory, statutory, and AS9100 requirements
- Manage supplier qualification, performance monitoring, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
- Participate in supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and facilitate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects
- Plan and perform supplier audits (Quality System, Process, Product, Special Process Assessments)
- Review supplier FAI packages in accordance with AS9102 requirements
- Monitor KPI Dashboard including Supplier PPM, On Time Delivery, SCAR Closure Performance, Audit Scores, Cost of Poor Quality, Supplier Responsiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or quality engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Quality
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing and AS9100 environments
- AS9100/ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification
- AS9100/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
- Good to have ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
- Good to have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

Job Overview
- The Supplier Quality Associate Engineer is responsible for ensuring that externally provided products, processes, and services conform to customer, regulatory, statutory, and AS9100 requirements.
- The incumbent manages supplier qualification, performance monitoring, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities to ensure suppliers consistently deliver conforming products that meet aerospace industry standards and EPI requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in supplier risk assessments in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
- Evaluate risks associated with single source suppliers, critical components, special processes, supplier performance trends, and develop mitigation plans.
- Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Support reduction of supplier defects and process variation. Share best practices with suppliers.
- Plan and perform supplier audits based on risk and performance: Quality System Audits, Process Audits, Product Audits, Special Process Assessments.
- Evaluate supplier compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements. Issue audit reports and monitor corrective action implementation.
- Review supplier FAI packages in accordance with AS9102 requirements. Verify completeness and accuracy of FAI documentation.
- Monitor KPI Dashboard: Supplier PPM, On Time Delivery (OTD), SCAR Closure Performance, Audit Scores, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), Supplier Responsiveness.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering or quality engineering or related discipline.
- Good to have ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP).
- AS9100/ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
- AS9100/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Good to have Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- RCA and SPC.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or Aerospace Quality.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing and AS9100 environments and conducting supplier audits.
