About the Role
We are seeking a Finishing Operator to perform deburring, blending, polishing, and inspection of manufactured components in the aerospace or automotive industry. Requires 3+ years of relevant experience and trade school accreditation.

Responsibilities
- Perform finishing and deburring processes including blending, polishing and the creation of edge breaks
- Inspect manufactured components for quality conformance to specifications using bench gauging
- Ensure standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling
- Perform visual inspection
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Deburr parts by removing sharp edges, mismatch, tool marks, tab cutting and grinding
- Perform spot facing as per requirement
- Perform straightening by 3 point bending, shot peening or manual by using mallet
- Perform Total Preventive Maintenance Activities (TPM) as per TPM Checklist
- Perform In Process Measurement (IPM) to ensure quality output
- Fill in all controlled and required documents precisely and accurately and do the SFC in timely manner
- Maintain Housekeeping and 5S under area of responsibility
Requirements
- Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Certification or Accreditation in Deburring
- Knowledge of Straightening Process and Material handling
- Quality Inspection and Measurement skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the aerospace or automotive industries
