About the Role
EPI is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with 3+ years of experience in milling and turning. The role involves setting up and managing CNC machines, translating engineering drawings, performing maintenance, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities
- Set up and manage CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, and turning
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production
- Oversee machines during tasks and make necessary changes to improve results
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment
- Record machine actions by completing production and quality logs
- Perform maintenance, coolant monitoring, and cleaning of equipment daily
- Inspect finished product to ensure machining results align with client expectations
- Perform general machine troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Perform in process measurement and visual inspection to ensure quality
- Fill in controlled documents and SFC data entry including downtime on daily basis
- Monitor scrap levels and highlight if levels exceed average
- Set up cutting tools as per cutting tool list using heat shrink fit and dynamic tool balancer
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Milling machine operator (Milling and Turning)
- Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings
- Certificate or diploma in Engineering is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling & turning.
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment.
- Record all machine related actions by completing production and quality logs, keeping detailed records for equipment and procedures.
- Perform necessary maintenance, Coolant Monitoring and cleaning of equipment daily.
- Inspect finished product to ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
- Perform general machine trouble shooting to minimize down time.
- Perform In Process Measurement and Visual Inspection to ensure the quality of product meets customer requirements.
- Fill in all controlled required documents and SFC data entry including down time on daily basis.
- Monitor scrap levels against the parts produced under your responsibility and highlight if levels exceed average.
- Set up cutting tools as per Cutting tool list, using a heat shrink fit, dynamic tool balancer, to ensure tools are in line with the drawing requirement.
Qualifications And Skills
- Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate or diploma in Engineering is an advantage.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S under the area of responsibility.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a CNC Milling machine operator (Milling and Turning).
- Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
