Responsibilities
- Direct and assist stewards for efficient cleaning
- Ensure proper water temperature and chemical quantities for cleaning and document
- Assist with banquet food distribution
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed
- Transport merchandise and ensure adequate stock for banquet and buffet support
- Store clean items in appropriate locations
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwasher, manual wash stations, pot scrubbing stations, and garbage disposal
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Comply with all company safety policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Related work experience: At least 2 years
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year
- License or certification: None
