Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Supervisor to develop and lead our production warehousing operation. Reporting into our Manager of Production Warehousing, you will be part of our Production Warehousing team and will contribute to the ground up build of all physical material flows in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams. What you'll do:
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production warehousing associates in our Weirton, WV location. Be a proactive culture champion that creates a uniform, positive employee experience across all shift schedules
Continuously improve inbound receipt flow and the putaway process to maximize space utilization and inventory accuracy.
Manage critical lineside delivery processes to ensure production teams experience zero downtime due to material shortages
Oversee seamless product transfers to and from the main plant and other satellite production locations
Coordinate closely with our process engineering team to develop standard operating procedures, and actively train and mentor your team with the latest process advancements
Track operational KPIs to drive month-over-month productivity improvements and consistently report out to leadership on a monthly basis
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards to maintain a secure, zero-incident overnight work environment
What you'll bring:
5+ years of progressive experience in fast-paced distribution or warehousing operations
Demonstrated experience in leading warehousing/distribution operations and a proven track record as a people leader who can build, coach, and retain high-performing teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience
Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and modern inventory control protocols
Familiarity with Lean methodology (e.g., 5S, Kanban) and a data-driven approach to solving logistical bottlenecks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge operations across engineering, supply chain, and production departments
Where you'll work:
This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
