Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory of tools, equipment, and materials
- Order plants, new and replacement equipment, or supplies within budget
- Record water usage of pumps and wells
- Perform minor repairs on structures manually or using power tools
- Mix, prepare, and apply chemical solutions for pest, weed, or plant disease control
- Keep records of pesticide and fertilizer applications
- Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems
- Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Llevar a cabo el inventario de las herramientas, los equipos o los materiales.
- Realizar los pedidos de las plantas, los equipos nuevos y de repuesto, o las provisiones, dentro del presupuesto establecido.
- Registrar el uso del agua de las bombas y los pozos.
- Realizar reparaciones de menor importancia en las estructuras manualmente o mediante el uso de herramientas eléctricas.
- Mezclar, preparar y aplicar soluciones químicas para el control de pestes, malezas o enfermedades de las plantas.
- Llevar registros de las aplicaciones de pesticidas y fertilizantes.
- Instalar, mantener y operar los sistemas de irrigación.
- Manejar tractores, camiones o vehículos utilitarios para transportar equipos y provisiones.
- Asistir a la gerencia en la contratación, capacitación, programación, evaluación, asesoramiento, disciplina, motivación y entrenamiento de los empleados; servir como ejemplo.
Desired Qualifications
- Educación: Título de estudios secundarios o certificado equivalente de un programa de Desarrollo de Educación General (GED).
- Experiencia laboral afín: Al menos 3 años de experiencia laboral afín.
- Experiencia como supervisor: Al menos 3 años de experiencia como supervisor.
- Licencia o certificación: Carnet de conducir válido
