Oversee daily shop operations, scheduling, and coordination of tradespeople to meet operational requirements.
Assign work and allocate resources to optimize productivity and equipment turnaround times.
Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to technicians and apprentices.
Conduct in-process and post-repair inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, OHSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review and support the preparation of work orders, service quotes, warranty documentation, and technical reports.
Resolve service-related issues and communicate repair solutions to support positive customer outcomes.
Coordinate activities with lead hands, welders, subcontractors, and field service teams as required.
Coach, train, and evaluate employees while supporting skill development and cross-training opportunities.
Participate in incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You bring 2+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial or heavy equipment environment and a commitment to safe, effective operations and team success.
Strong understanding of OH&S legislation, safety management systems, and inspection requirements.
Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage shop resources effectively.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to make sound decisions independently.

Working knowledge of Komatsu and other OEM equipment
