Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day café operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Lead, motivate, and support baristas, servers, cashiers, and shift staff
  • Maintain premium service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Monitor beverage and food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
  • Coordinate staff schedules, attendance, shift coverage, and break management
  • Train and coach team members on service standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock ordering, wastage control, and supplier coordination
  • Support sales growth through upselling, promotions, and operational improvements
  • Oversee cash handling, POS operations, daily reports, and closing procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and visual standards
  • Collaborate with management on performance targets and operational goals

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in premium cafés, restaurants, or hospitality environments
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Good understanding of café operations, specialty coffee service, and hospitality standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory control, and reporting
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or multi-branch café operations
  • Knowledge of specialty coffee and premium food service
  • Multilingual communication skills
  • Experience in staff training and performance management
