Responsibilities
- Ensure staff work as a team and inspect personal appearance and attire
- Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to satisfy guest needs
- Attend to and try to fulfill any special banquet event preparations
- Organize the banquet room or area ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture and equipment
- Inspect and maintain table organization to meet group requirements and company standards
- Document pertinent information in appropriate department records
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to achieve common goals
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
- Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
Desired Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Related work experience: At least 1 year
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year
