Job Description Summary
- All resources and logistics required to perform service and maintenance activities on customer site/property.
- Activities contribute to maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products.
- Includes all types of maintenance services (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities
- All activities related to testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant according to design objectives or specifications for operational use.
- Includes performance services and performance tests.
- Expanding knowledge of own technical discipline to implement policies/strategies.
- May include support roles with specialized technical knowledge area; ongoing acquisition of higher level knowledge and skills.
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to perform own work.
- Good knowledge of how own team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
- Solves problems in situations requiring good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- Consults higher level team members for issues outside defined instructions/parameters.
- Requires good interpersonal skills and may be necessary to lead a junior team.
- For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as interface between customer and GE Vernova.
- Explains technical information to others.
Basic Qualifications
- For roles outside the US This role requires basic experience in the function and digital audio workstation. Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma with experience in a relevant field).
- For roles in the US Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma and/or GED with at least 2 years of experience in the function).
