Join Nine's Broadcast Operations team in North Sydney as a Studio Automation Coordinator, bringing live and pre-recorded television content to life for iconic Australian brands like Nine News, A Current Affair, and Stan Sport.
Working flexibly across Pilot, Co-Pilot, and Floor Technician roles, you will utilise state-of-the-art automation technology to ensure seamless, high-quality broadcast execution.

Day to day you will:
• Coordinate live broadcasts and pre-recorded programs using Viz Mosart automation, ENPS, SAGA and associated systems.
• Direct studio elements seamlessly while acting as a primary liaison between control room crew and studio floor talent.
• Proactively monitor ENPS, SAGA and Mosart rundowns to identify technical issues early and execute redundancy plans.
• Adapt swiftly to breaking news, rolling coverage, and changing live broadcast priorities.
• Perform pre-show equipment checks across camera, audio, and lighting systems while maintaining studio floor safety.
• Support team development, maintain operational documentation, and assist with template management.
What you'll bring:
• Broad understanding of overall television production, control room workflows, and studio floor operations.
• Demonstrated experience in an on-air live broadcast environment, maintaining composure and focus under pressure.
• Hands-on experience using Viz Mosart studio automation software alongside ENPS, SAGA or a similar NRCS.
• Desirable exposure to or practical experience with video routing, vision switching, comms systems, broadcast orchestration platforms, graphics operation.
• Exceptional communication skills, adaptable behaviour, and a collaborative team-first mindset.
• Flexibility to work shift work across a varied 7-day roster, including regular weekends and public holidays.
