- Experience working with pupils with additional educational needs (e.g., English language difficulties, social/emotional/behavioral difficulties, or other academic needs)
- Ability to support learning both in group and individual settings

About the Role
- Student Support Assistants play a crucial role in supporting the inclusion of pupils with additional educational needs in the school community.
- They normally work with an individual student, supporting them to overcome barriers to learning (e.g., English language difficulties, social/emotional/behavioral difficulties, or other academic needs).
- The aim is to help the pupil learn as effectively as possible both in group and individual situations, inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Support the inclusion of pupils with additional educational needs.
- Work with individual students to overcome barriers to learning.
- Assist in developing and delivering a suitable programme of support within the classroom and on a one to one basis.
- Collaborate with Class Teachers to support pupils' learning.
