About the Role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all month end and statutory accounts, leading the annual external audit process
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the school
- Manage cash flow and working capital, providing clear visibility on liquidity and risk
- Oversee Capex reporting, weekly KPI, and cash collection reports
- Support the procurement process and oversee supplier contracts and service agreements
- Provide accurate, timely financial information to Principals, SLT, and budget holders
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and vendor payments
- Oversee payroll in coordination with HR, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Ensure full compliance with financial procedures, company policy, and local accounting standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting or financial leadership
- Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, etc.)
- Experience in reporting, consolidation, business planning, and process improvement
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with both finance and non finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism

The role
- We seek an individual to join as a School Finance Manager where your focus will be:
Key Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate will possess

- Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).

- Strong people management and leadership skills.
