Role Overview
Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of steel bridge structures from concept and preliminary design through detailed design, construction supervision, and project closeout.
Develop practical bridge engineering solutions for complex urban transportation corridors and highway networks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate bridge designs with highways, utilities, traffic, drainage, geotechnical, and construction disciplines.
- Perform structural analysis, design calculations, technical reviews, and independent design verification.
- Respond to technical queries and review shop drawings, method statements, temporary works proposals, and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities for compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Review contractor submissions and oversee bridge construction, erection, launching, rehabilitation, strengthening, and maintenance works.
- Identify and resolve design and construction issues arising during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, Saudi regulations, AASHTO, Eurocodes, and relevant local bridge design standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility agencies, and government authorities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within bridge design and supervision teams.
