- Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements
- Perform tests on materials (concrete, steel, etc.) to evaluate structural integrity and quality
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non conformance reports
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Interpret and enforce building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Participate in site meetings to discuss quality control issues and resolutions
- Monitor workmanship and adherence to project timelines
- Provide reports and documentation to project managers and quality assurance teams
Requirements
- Experience in construction inspection and quality control
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Experience with material testing (concrete, steel, etc.)
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
