Responsibilities
- Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities on water infrastructure and utility projects
- Prepare cost estimates, quantity take offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, and contract documents
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements
- Review, evaluate, and negotiate variations, claims, extension of time submissions, and additional cost claims
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim payment applications and final accounts
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, forecasts, and commercial performance
- Provide commercial and contractual support to Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and project teams
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and final account settlements
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation measures
- Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence, commercial documentation, and project financial data
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities on commercial and contractual matters
- Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and commercial negotiations
