Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements
- Prepare inspection reports and site records
- Perform civil and structural tests
- Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship
- Identify non conforming works, generate reports and corrective actions, and coordinate responses
- Work with engineers to solve project design problems and support performing basic design calculations
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and site investigations
- Liaise with teams working remotely from other parts of the world
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies
- Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and Quality Systems

Overview
- The role involves working on projects associated with Sewage & Stormwater, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant and rehabilitation works.
- This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.
Key Accountabilities
- Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
- Preparing inspection reports and site records.
- Performing civil and structural tests.
- Providing general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
- Identifying non conforming works, generating reports and corrective actions, and coordinating responses.
- Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, support performing basic design calculations as required.
- Conduct technical, feasibility studies and site investigations.
- Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project.
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
- Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
- Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer.
