Responsibilities
- Assist the Structure Assistant Resident Engineer in site duties related to bridges, MSE walls, structural works, pump station building, and steel structures
- Maintain a detailed diary of day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labor and equipment used
- Attend to Work Inspection Requests (WIR) submitted by contractor and take appropriate action
- Monitor quality of works and assess site safety including health and environmental issues
- Prepare Surveillance Reports, Site Observation Reports (SOR), or Non Conformance Reports (NCR) as needed
- Provide technical input to resolve discipline related issues on site
- Prepare documentation prior to inspection and process accordingly
- Keep and maintain complete records concerning execution of works
- Ensure project quality control procedures are used and monitored for improvement
- Communicate site progress information regularly
- Coordinate works to ensure successful hand over of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute
- Minimum 5+ years of civil construction work experience on major structural projects (bridges, pump station buildings)
- GCC experience is an advantage
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret construction specifications
- Fully computer literate and able to use project specific software

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Structural Inspector to join the team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Role involves monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, and documentation of all Structural/Bridges and Tunnel works.
What You'll Be Doing
