Role Overview
- Parsons is looking for a Structural Engineering Intern to join the team in Doha, Qatar. The intern will support engineers and designers in delivering coordinated structural designs on multidisciplinary projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting Engineers with structural design layouts, basic calculations, and engineering drawings.
- Helping prepare engineering deliverables, including plans, sections, diagrams, and simple reports.
- Using CAD and other engineering software to assist in preparing design documents.
- Collecting, organizing, and reviewing project data such as surveys, as built records, and technical specifications.
- Updating drawings and documents based on redlines and markups from senior staff.
- Supporting coordination between different disciplines.
- Assisting with technical documentation, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Learning and applying relevant standards, codes, and Parsons procedures.
