We are hiring an experienced Structural Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
You will prepare structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings from engineer-approved designs, working closely with structural engineers and site teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural shop, construction, and as-built drawings from engineer-approved designs for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs, and other applicable elements.
- Develop plans, sections, details, and reinforcement drawings where required; coordinate structural interfaces with architecture, MEP, civil, and landscape drawings.
- Incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, and approved site changes; check dimensions, levels, annotations, and drawing revisions before submission.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and capture verified as-built information.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline — or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of structural drafting and detailing experience, including construction or shop drawing production.
- Strong AutoCAD skills, sound knowledge of structural elements and reinforcement detailing, and the ability to interpret engineer-approved structural drawings.
