Responsibilities
- Review project standards, specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Review design build documents, drawings, calculations, operating manuals, and technical reports for compliance
- Review contractor submittals including materials, construction methodologies, and subcontractor prequalification documents
- Support Lead Civil Engineer and Senior Structural Engineers in preparing and reviewing technical reports and investigations
- Assist in maintaining project budgets, schedules, and compliance with approved scope of work
- Provide structural engineering support to multidisciplinary teams including architectural, MEP, and project controls
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of design and engineering activities
- Attend and witness inspections, testing, and acceptance activities as required
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to structural engineering matters
- Provide technical support to construction sites and assist in resolving design related issues
- Identify discrepancies, evaluate technical challenges, and recommend practical engineering solutions
- Participate in safety meetings and review installation demonstrations of proposed materials and construction methods
Requirements
- Experience in structural design engineering, preferably with underground projects
- Ability to review project standards, specifications, drawings, and technical documents
- Ability to review contractor submittals and technical submissions
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent coordination and communication skills

- Assist in maintaining project budgets, schedules, and compliance with the approved scope of work.
- Provide structural engineering support to multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, MEP, and project controls disciplines.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of design and engineering activities.
