MJU Engineering Consultancy seeks a Structural Design Engineer for full-time on-site work in Dubai. The role involves developing safe structural designs for buildings up to 50 stories, performing analysis using software like Etabs and Safe, and coordinating with project teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop safe, efficient structural designs for buildings and other structures from concept through detailed design and construction documentation
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using structural design software such as Etabs, Safe, Stad pro, prokon and other design analysis programs
- Prepare and review CAD and AutoCAD drawings
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders
- Review shop drawings, support site teams with technical clarifications
- Participate in design reviews and value engineering
- Prepare design reports and documentation
- Collaborate closely with project managers to meet project timelines, quality benchmarks, and client expectations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis, including load calculations, modeling, and verification of structural safety and serviceability
- Wide experience and creativity in using structural design software and finding structural design solutions to design high rise buildings up to 50 stories
- Candidate must be holding Dubai Municipality approval for unlimited floors buildings structural design for at least 10 years
- Hands on experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) like AutoCAD and Revit for preparing, reviewing, and updating structural drawings and details
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with relevant international and regional building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS/EN, local authority requirements)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to clearly present design intent and technical information
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a collaborative team environment
- Prior consultancy or design office experience in the Gulf region and knowledge of local construction practices are advantageous

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Structural Design Engineer role based in Dubai.
