- Support the development of annual and multi year corporate strategy aligned with CEO vision and national objectives
- Lead strategic assessments, sector analysis, and growth opportunity evaluations
- Manage the Group wide Strategic Planning Cycle including strategy refresh, cascading, and approvals
- Develop strategic recommendations, scenario planning, and decision papers for senior leadership
- Lead the annual KPI setting cycle and ensure alignment across corporate and portfolio targets
- Monitor performance of corporate departments and portfolio companies, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions
- Coordinate with portfolio companies to align strategic priorities and transformation initiatives
- Lead and manage special strategic projects assigned by senior leadership
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and risk assessments
- Prepare high quality presentations, board papers, and analytical reports
Requirements
- 10 15 years of experience in strategy, planning, or performance management
- Experience in corporate strategy development and execution
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
- Experience with KPI setting and performance management
- Stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills
- Experience in investment or portfolio management is preferred

Job Summary
- Our client, an investment company, is looking for a Strategy & Planning Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi.
- The role plays a critical part in shaping, driving, and monitoring corporate strategy and alignment across portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual and multi year corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with the Group CEO's vision and national economic objectives.
- Lead strategic assessments, sector analysis, and growth opportunity evaluations across priority sectors.
- Manage Group wide Strategic Planning Cycle: Strategy refresh, cascading, alignment workshops, and approvals.
- Develop strategic recommendations, scenario planning, and decision papers for the MD/GCEO and Investment Committee.
- Lead the annual KPI setting cycle, ensuring alignment between corporate KPIs, departmental KPIs, and portfolio level targets.
- Monitor performance of corporate departments and portfolio companies, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare executive dashboards and progress reports for the MD/GCEO.
- Coordinate with portfolio companies to align strategic priorities, operational transformation initiatives, and group wide support services standards.
- Lead and manage special strategic projects assigned by the MD/GCEO or Group CSSO.
- Conduct feasibility studies, benchmarking, business cases, and operating model reviews.
- Conduct in depth market research, competitor benchmarking, and risk assessments.
- Prepare high quality presentations, board papers, policy briefs, and analytical reports.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 15 years of experience in strategy, planning, or performance management
- Experience in corporate strategy development and execution
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
- Experience with KPI setting and performance management
- Stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills
- Experience in investment or portfolio management is preferred
