About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead end to end RFQs, contract negotiations, and category strategies spanning APIs, packaging, global logistics, and warehousing
- Analyze and benchmark global transportation and distribution costs to transform external supply chain operating models
- Build spend visibility dashboards, standardize procurement analytics, and use tools like Power BI to turn complex data into actionable executive decisions
- Act as an internal educator, helping cross functional teams adopt a value driven, structured procurement mindset
Requirements
- 10+ years of strategic procurement experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare, or high compliance FMCG/CPG environments
- Experience managing both complex direct categories (e.g., APIs) and heavy indirect/logistics categories (freight, warehousing)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or advanced analytics platforms
- Ability to diplomatically challenge status quo, align global stakeholders, and embed SLA/KPI governance
- Deep familiarity with GDP/GMP compliance environments (bonus)
- Background in management consulting or high growth procurement transformations (bonus)
- CIPS, APICS, CPSM, or equivalent certifications (bonus)

The Mission

Who You Are
- Regulated Industry Expert: 10+ years of strategic procurement experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare, or high compliance FMCG/CPG environments.
- Diverse Category Depth: Successfully managed both complex direct categories (like APIs) and heavy indirect/logistics categories (freight, warehousing).
- Analytical Powerhouse: Love data validation, benchmarking, and building business cases using Excel, Power BI, or advanced analytics platforms.
- A Change Agent: Know how to diplomatically challenge the status quo, align global stakeholders, and embed robust SLA/KPI governance.
Bonus Points For
- Deep familiarity with GDP/GMP compliance environments.
