Overview
- Receive and inspect MEP materials such as cables, conduits, fittings, pipes, valves, switches, and equipment
- Verify materials against delivery notes, LPOs, and specifications
- Ensure proper storage of MEP items (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) to prevent damage or deterioration
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP systems or manual logs
- Issue materials based on approved material requests (MRN / MIV)
- Track material consumption and update stock balance regularly
- Coordinate with MEP engineers and procurement team for material requirements
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and audits
- Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) for materials where applicable
- Handle damaged, excess, or returned materials properly
- Ensure store safety, housekeeping, and compliance with HSE standards
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and consumption reports
