Role Overview
Storekeeper or Inventory Controller responsible for managing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
The role supports Shepherd’s Dream Farms operations through inventory control, safe storage, reporting, and coordination with other departments.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against quality standards and purchase orders.
- Organize the store and maintain safe, accessible, and suitable storage conditions.
- Conduct physical and system-based stock counts and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels, initiate reorders, and follow up on backorders.
- Coordinate with procurement on obsolete, surplus, delayed, or insufficient materials.
- Control store access and protect inventory against theft or loss.
- Store fragile and hazardous materials according to safety regulations.
- Use handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks when necessary.
- Issue materials and equipment against requisitions and document receipts, transfers, issuances, and returns.
- Track consumption, discrepancies, overuse, and returned item condition.
- Prepare inventory, stock-level, usage, and discrepancy reports.
- Coordinate material supply with procurement, maintenance, and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a supply chain or warehouse management diploma is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of storekeeping or inventory control experience is required.
- Construction or industrial setting experience is preferred.
- Valid UAE Educational Certificate Equivalency is mandatory.
- Educational certificates must be attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, is required.
- English proficiency is required.
- Forklift certification and inventory or safety training are advantageous.
- Knowledge of basic accounting, record keeping, and hazardous-material handling procedures is required.

- This is a full-time, in-person role.
- Pay is AED 2,500 per month.
