Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy within the system
- Conduct cycle counts and support periodic inventory audits
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess inventory, and slow moving items
- Safely handle, store, and issue flammable, corrosive, reactive, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with SDS and company procedures
- Ensure proper segregation of incompatible materials
- Verify that all containers are correctly labeled and stored in designated locations
- Inspect storage areas regularly and report damaged containers, leaks, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately
- Maintain compliance with fire safety requirements and hazardous material storage regulations
- Store and monitor materials requiring controlled temperature conditions, including products requiring refrigerated or cold storage
- Record and monitor storage temperatures according to approved procedures
- Ensure cold storage equipment is functioning properly and report temperature deviations immediately
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse/storekeeping experience
- Experience in chemical manufacturing, construction chemicals, paints, coatings, adhesives, or related industries preferred
- Experience handling hazardous, flammable, and temperature sensitive materials is highly desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
- Ability to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Familiarity with cold storage and temperature monitoring procedures
- Proficiency in ERP systems and warehouse software
- Strong attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

- Candidate should mandatorily have experience in construction chemicals manufacturing company.
- The Storekeeper is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, handling, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products used in the manufacture of construction chemicals. The role includes managing hazardous, flammable, sensitive, and temperature controll
