Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials
- Plan and schedule deliveries to customers, warehouses, and project sites
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier companies
- Resolve logistics issues, delays, and delivery discrepancies
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth material flow
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.
- Update ERP/WMS with shipment, inventory, and transportation details
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in transportation planning, warehouse coordination, and inventory management
- Knowledge of import/export logistics and customs documentation preferred
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar

Job Purpose
- The Logistics Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory to ensure timely, cost effective, and efficient logistics operations.
Logistics Operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
- Plan and schedule deliveries to customers, warehouses, and project sites.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and courier companies.
- Resolve logistics issues, delays, and delivery discrepancies.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth material flow.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
- Support demand fulfillment by coordinating logistics activities.
Warehouse Coordination
- Coordinate inbound receipts and outbound dispatches with warehouse personnel.
- Ensure proper documentation for goods receipt and deliveries.
- Support inventory team with stock counts and reconciliation.
Import & Export Logistics
- Coordinate import and export shipments with Logistics supervisor.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.
- Track customs clearance and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Documentation & ERP Management
- Maintain accurate logistics records and shipment documentation.
- Update ERP/WMS with shipment, inventory, and transportation details.
- Ensure timely processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Delivery Notes, and shipment records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
Vendor & Transport Management
- Coordinate with transport companies and logistics service providers.
- Obtain transportation quotations and compare costs.
- Monitor transporter performance against agreed service levels.
- Verify freight invoices before submission for payment.
Cost Control
- Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost saving opportunities.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and transportation routes.
- Reduce transportation delays and avoid unnecessary freight costs.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and HSE requirements.
- Follow UAE customs regulations and import/export compliance requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
