Store Operative

Conduct a full monthly stock audit and ensure stock accuracy is maintained at all times.

Ensure all movements of stock are transacted electronically in real time .

Control the audit of all incoming material from suppliers.

Prepare material for point of use in accordance with written instructions.

Manage and report on material shortages.

Enforce Comex2000 procedures for stock and asset control.

Assist loading and unloading civils and cable gang vehicles.

Enforce good housekeeping disciplines to maintain excellent yard management and organisation.

Ensure site security is maintained throughout the day to ensure stock integrity.

Organise and control the issue of plant line equipment .

Observe and maintain safe working systems within the work cells, reporting any Health and Safety issues.

Prepare shipments for dispatch and organise all relevant paperwork.

Liaise effectively with couriers and third parties.

Follow the delivery schedule to ensure all customer deliveries are met right first time and in full .

Liaise with Planning and Purchasing to resolve any plan-related issues.

Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding any staff behaviour issues in the yard or warehouse.
