Cable Operatives

This role falls under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)

We are looking for Self Employed Cable Operative’s to work in and around the Black Country on the VM02 network. As a Cable Operative , you will be at the forefront of constructing, installing, and maintaining advanced telecommunications networks.

Building and maintaining new and existing core telecommunications access networks, including Copper, HFC, and overhead cables.

Heavy cable pulling, spanning overhead lines, subducting, and blowing fibre.

Keeping detailed records of your work using our internal database.

Adhering to Virgin Media's high standards

Following all safety regulations, including the National Roads & Street Works Act.

Ensuring all equipment is in excellent and safe working condition.

Sound practical knowledge and experience of Copper, HFC, and FTTP.

You may be required to support the clients in house operation from time to time.

You are comfortable with technology and eager to learn about telecommunications infrastructure.

NRSWA Unit 2 and PIA Accredited

Driving License: You hold a full, clean, and valid UK driving license (minimum 1 year)

Security Clearance: DBS/necessary security checks will be carried out.

Working 40 hours per week from 8am - 5pm
