Job Summary
Manage daily store operations for a printing, publishing, manufacturing, and security-printing facility.
Handle raw materials, printing consumables, packaging materials, finished products, and company supplies while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Store paper, boards, inks, chemicals, packaging materials, spare parts, and other production materials.
- Maintain stock records and issue materials to production against authorized requisitions.
- Monitor stock, coordinate replenishment, conduct counts, and investigate discrepancies.
- Record receipts, issues, returns, transfers, adjustments, batches, lots, quantities, and expiry dates.
- Maintain labeling, storage conditions, FIFO/FEFO practices, cleanliness, security, and health and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, quality control, and accounts on requirements and stock movements.
- Control finished goods and sensitive security-printing materials and prepare inventory reports.
- Report damaged, excess, obsolete, slow-moving, or missing materials.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Keeper, Inventory Controller, or similar.
- Experience in printing, publishing, manufacturing, or production is preferred.
- Require knowledge of inventory control, warehouse procedures, MS Excel, and basic computer applications.
- ERP or inventory management software experience is advantageous.
- Require accuracy, communication, coordination, confidentiality, independent work, teamwork, and physical ability to handle materials.
- Require a high school diploma, diploma, or equivalent qualification; additional logistics training or certification is advantageous.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–AED 3,000 per month.
