Role Overview
The Logistics Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day inbound and outbound shipment operations.
The role coordinates shipment receipt, scanning, sorting, allocation, staging, dispatch, system updates, and operational compliance.
The coordinator works with warehouse teams, delivery teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment activities from receipt through dispatch.
- Allocate and dispatch shipments based on destinations, routing, priorities, and delivery capacity.
- Monitor shipment status, SLAs, timelines, productivity targets, and service-level requirements.
- Escalate delays, discrepancies, exceptions, and other operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records in logistics, tracking, or warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to resolve shipment discrepancies and routine issues.
- Ensure safe, secure, accurate, and compliant handling, storage, staging, and movement of shipments.
- Monitor shipment volumes and prepare operational, shipment, and exception reports.
- Follow company policies, standard procedures, health and safety requirements, and security protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- Two to three years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution, courier, warehouse, shipment processing, or a similar environment.
- Practical experience with shipment processing, scanning, sorting, allocation, staging, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
- Experience using logistics, shipment-tracking, warehouse management, or similar operational systems.
- Relevant logistics or vocational certification is an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics operations, shipment routing, destination allocation, delivery areas, and turnaround times.
- Good computer and system skills with the ability to maintain accurate operational records.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, organization, communication, coordination, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify operational exceptions, work under pressure, and meet deadlines and service-level targets.
- Commitment to safety, security, quality, and compliance.
Pay
- The stated pay is AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
