JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of the stinger on board the barge.
- Ensure complete and up to date inventory of spare items/equipment.
- Check availability and correct setup of stinger equipment.
- Keep documented log of all stinger activities.
- Supervise dismantling, demobilization & maintenance during idle period.
- Maintain log of equipment condition before and after activities.
- Establish safe working environment.
- Carry out stinger operation safely in emergencies.
- Train and develop crew in stinger operation, maintenance and repair.
- Compliance with Company codes and HSE standards.
QUALIFICATION
- High school or equivalent.
- 8 years’ experience as Stinger Technician.
- Good English language skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Proven supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements.
