About the Role

Responsibilities
- Train and develop the crew in the operation, maintenance and repair of Hydraulic Hammers and power packs/equipment
- Report details of the job and activities related to the Hammer to the Barge Foreman, Barge Superintendent and Field Engineer
- Ensure a complete and up to date inventory of available spare items/equipment is always maintained
- Check that all the items and accessories required for the Hammers are available onboard the barge and ensure that the hammers are correctly set up, hoses are connected and umbilical cables are ready to use
- Keep a well documented log of all activities which are mobilized with hammers
- Supervise the dismantling and demobilization of the hammer equipment and its maintenance during the idle period
- Maintain a log of equipment condition before and after piling activities to record and indicate specific equipment that requires maintenance works
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- 6 years experience as Hydraulic Hammer Operator
- Good English language skills
- Good Communication skills
- Proven supervisory skills
- Knowledge of all offshore safety training requirements
- Proven experience operating and supervising hydraulic hammers such as IHC, Menck, Junttan, Delmag, or equivalent systems
- Strong background in offshore jacket, platform, bridge, and subsea structure installation projects
- Experience with pile installation, pile driving analysis, and hammer performance monitoring
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, power packs, control systems, and hammer maintenance
- Ability to supervise offshore construction crews, technicians, and subcontractors
