Responsibilities
- Demonstrate work methods and perform critical tasks when necessary
- Participate in the training and development of subordinates
- Supervise work progress and safeguard against waste of materials and man hours
- Ensure subordinates are properly equipped and equipment is correctly used and maintained
- Maintain safety of site for crew and others
- Investigate grievances of subordinates and handle them appropriately
Requirements
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- All offshore safety training requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations within offshore oil & gas projects
- At least 5 years of experience in a Rigging Supervisor role
- Strong experience in offshore construction, jacket installation, topside installation, and heavy lifting operations
- Proven experience with crane operations, load out, sea fastening, transportation, and offshore lifting activities
- Valid Rigging Supervisor Certification and Lifting Supervisor Certification
- Knowledge of lifting plans, rigging studies, load calculations, and risk assessments
- Familiarity with international lifting standards and offshore safety requirements
- Ability to read and interpret lifting drawings, rigging plans, and engineering procedures

Job Description
- Demonstrate work methods when necessary and from time to time actually perform critical tasks which his subordinate craftsman / workers don’t have the skill or experience to perform.
- Participate in the training and development of subordinates.
- Supervise work progress safe guard against waste of materials and man hours. Supervisor will monitor attendance and punctuality of his crew.
- Ensure that his subordinates are properly equipped, and equipment issued or allocated is correctly used and maintained in a safe and effective manner.
- Responsible for maintaining safety of site for both his crew and others needing access to it.
- Investigate any grievances of his subordinates in order to try to determine the real cause of difficulties and handling them appropriately.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
- Good standard of written and spoken English
