Responsibilities
- Lead the Stewarding team in cleaning and organization in F&B restaurants and kitchens, loading dock area and storage spaces
- Coordinate and maintain cleanliness of all F&B areas including china, silverware, glassware, cookware, banquets equipment, kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment
- Ensure delivery of equipment for setup and breakdown of banquet and restaurant functions on time
- Supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
- Train Stewarding team
- Review banquet event orders and ensure all set ups and supplies are in place
- Check equipment daily to ensure all is in working condition and report defects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including all equipment and storage spaces
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stewarding supervisory role within hospitality
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Ability to train and supervise a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Strong organizational skills

Job Description
- Lead the Stewarding team in many functions of food service: cleaning and organization in the F&B restaurants and kitchens, loading dock area and storage spaces
- Coordinating and maintaining the cleanliness of all F&B areas in the hotel including china, silverware, glassware, cookware, banquets equipment, kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment
- Delivery of equipment for setup and breakdown of banquet and restaurant functions on time, while continuing clear communication between the Stewarding team and the Culinary and Restaurant Management teams
- Receiving and storage of products both food and dry goods within the kitchens
- Consistently offering professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
- Supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
- Train Stewarding team
- Review banquet event orders and ensure all set ups and supplies are in place from banquet requisitions
- Check equipment daily to ensure all is in working condition and promptly report any defects or malfunctions to the Stewarding Management team
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including all equipment and storage spaces
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Responsibility: Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regard to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, environment and others at work.
- Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH.
- Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
- Cooperate with organization with respect to actions and or actions taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirements.
- Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
- Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consultative arrangements.
- Report all near miss/hazard/unsafe conditions or act.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
- Maintain all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.
