Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment
- Keep kitchen, dishwashing area, and back of house areas clean and organized
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain hygiene standards
- Support kitchen team with basic cleaning and setup tasks when needed
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any damaged equipment or safety issues to supervisor
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Support chefs and kitchen team with basic operational tasks when needed
- Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience as a steward or in a kitchen/cleaning role is an advantage
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
- Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and handle heavy loads
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Description
