Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitisation of plates, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and service ware
- Sort, scrape, soak and pre rinse items before loading into dishwashers and ensure correct detergents and chemicals are used
- Dry, polish, and store clean items in designated locations, handling delicate items carefully
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing station, kitchen back of house areas, and waste disposal points
- Assist with basic food preparation and plating support when required, following food safety and hygiene standards
- Report any equipment faults, breakages, or health and safety concerns promptly to management

Role Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and proactive Steward to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities for Steward
- Operate dishwashing equipment and hand wash items as required, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitisation of plates, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and service ware.
- Sort, scrape, soak and pre rinse items before loading into dishwashers and ensure correct detergents and chemicals are used according to instructions.
- Dry, polish, and store clean items in designated locations, maintaining careful handling of delicate items such as stemware, silver.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing station, kitchen back of house areas, and waste disposal points, including regular emptying of bins and recycling as per site procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation and plating support when required, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Report any equipment faults, breakages, or health and safety concerns promptly to management.
