Role Overview
Caseware is seeking a Staff UX Designer to address complex design problems at the intersection of design craft and AI-assisted making.
The role designs experiences for cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products used by accounting professionals globally.
The designer works with Product, Engineering, Design leadership, and other designers to set standards and shape complex regulated workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own complex and ambiguous product areas from problem framing through implementation.
- Design AI-native, agentic, conversational, intelligent-default, and predictive interaction patterns.
- Design human oversight moments that preserve auditor control and accountability.
- Shape end-to-end auditor journeys affected by AI and agentic capabilities.
- Create working prototypes that engineering can build from and use AI to pressure-test assumptions.
- Lead strategic user research and shape product scope, roadmaps, and sequencing.
- Lead cross-team initiatives, contribute to the design system, and uphold accessibility standards.
- Mentor designers, participate in critiques, and develop reusable design practices.
