Role overview
Support IST Engineering by designing, developing, and facilitating high-quality integration test procedures.
Support improvement of the complete solution development lifecycle.
The role focuses on validating integrated rail solutions across multiple systems and subsystems.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Experience with test automation technologies and scripting tools such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM CLM or DOORS Next Generation.
- Systems design, segment testing, and integration testing experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of network design principles, TCP/IP, UDP, Class D and EMP message structures, and packet analysis.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Broad railroad experience involving locomotive technologies, operations, hardware, software, communications, or infrastructure.
