Role Overview
The Staff Technical Program Manager will own how Product Development Lifecycle work flows from idea to impact across Product, Engineering, and Design.
This is a founding role responsible for defining the execution model, aligning stakeholders, and proving the model's value as it is built.
The role sits within the Product and Technology Operations team.
Execution Model
- Design a PDLC framework for Product, Engineering, and Design across all Lightspeed products.
- Define artifacts, checkpoints, exit criteria, and standards for each PDLC stage.
- Bring structure to ambiguity and resolve open questions as they surface.
Measurement System
- Establish metrics that provide leaders with a trustworthy, holistic view of work flow and bottlenecks.
- Design the framework to measure the system and surface bottlenecks rather than individual performance.
- Build exception tracking so blocked or off-track work becomes visible early.
