Role overview
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior iOS Developer for a squad supporting its Hospitality product group.
The role focuses on the Lightspeed point-of-sale application, helping expand into new markets and maintain partner integrations.
The position is based in Canada and works with a collaborative engineering team.
What you will do
- Develop innovative features and user-centric workflows for the iOS application.
- Design and implement efficient iOS mobile applications using SwiftUI.
- Balance new feature development with maintenance of existing integrations.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, grooming sessions, and delivery of technical solutions.
- Champion code quality and system reliability, take ownership of the codebase, and improve engineering practices.
- Share iOS development insights and adopt best practices to improve the application.
Required qualifications
- Advanced programming skills in SwiftUI.
- Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, Blockchain, UIKit, Swift, SQLite, Core Data, and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
