- Provide total patient care as assigned according to core standards and evidence based practices
- Assume accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating care and discharge planning for each patient
- Document all relevant information correctly and in a timely manner
- Report equipment failures, safety issues, and supply inventory reduction to Head Nurse
- Demonstrate collaborative multi disciplinary partnerships to improve patient care quality
- Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture
- Contribute to cost efficiency savings and resource utilization
- Participate in new staff/nursing student orientation and act as preceptor/mentor
- Demonstrate transcultural principles in nursing practice
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Two (2) years of Nursing experience with Bachelor's or four (4) years with Associate Degree/Diploma
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure
- No experience required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree; enrolment in New Graduate Development Program for staff with less than one year of experience

Summary
- Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides total patient care as assigned according to core standards and evidence based practices
- Assumes accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating care and discharge planning for each patient
- Contributes to decreasing length of stay/waiting time as per unit specific goal
- Documents all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner
- Reports equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to Head Nurse or designee
- Demonstrates collaborative multi disciplinary partnerships working towards constant improvement in quality patient care
- Promotes a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture
- Contributes to achievement of cost efficiency savings on unit
- Contributes to achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction
- Participates in new staff/nursing student orientation aimed at developing competence and performance
- Demonstrates transcultural principles in nursing practice
- Contributes to special projects/assignments linked to nursing strategic priorities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required
- Two (2) years of Nursing experience with Bachelor's or four (4) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required
- No experience is required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree
- Enrolment in New Graduate Development Program for staff with less than one (1) year of experience is required
Other Requirements (Certificates)
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required
