Staff Engineer

Provides direct support to Project Manager Designs a complete project, system, component, or process Prepares complete project documents, including plans and specifications Performs research and investigations Develops reports and study documents Analyzes and interprets data, including design calculations Formulates and solves problems Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments Assists with proposals to provide professional services Interacts with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments Maintains quality assurance standards for projects

Responsible for engineering activities including research, drafting, design, computations, data analysis, field inspections, preparation of plans, exhibits, specifications, reports and other project documents.
