Role Overview
Serve as a technical leader for Java backend engineering, architectural direction, multi-team initiatives, and scalable distributed systems.
Partner with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams across a complex digital ecosystem.
Independently define and deliver large-scale, multi-phase projects while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.
Technical Leadership and Engineering
- Drive technical strategy and architecture for complex distributed systems and core platform components.
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact, multi-team engineering initiatives and define phased technical roadmaps.
- Architect, develop, and optimize microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure cloud-native applications using Azure or AWS.
- Lead system design reviews, architecture discussions, technical deep dives, debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
- Build frameworks and shared libraries to accelerate development across squads.
AI and Engineering Productivity
- Champion AI-assisted development and LLM or GenAI tools to improve workflows, cycle time, and routine-task automation.
