General summary
Qualcomm Software Engineers design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
The Staff Engineer will build and deploy AI use cases for edge devices, analyze system behavior, and support robust integration in real-world environments.
The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in Go, Python, and C programming.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience may qualify.
- A master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience may qualify.
- A PhD in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience may qualify.
- At least 2 years of work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python is required.
- The role seeks 9+ years of experience developing and testing machine learning applications or use cases.
Technical requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering is listed in the role requirements.
