Role Overview
Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Engineer to design, develop, and scale GenAI-powered platforms, agentic workflows, and AI-native SDLC capabilities across CPSE.
The role focuses on moving GenAI from pilot initiatives to production-grade, enterprise-scale capabilities for engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field may qualify with the corresponding stated experience alternative.
- The required experience is 8 to 12 years in software engineering or platform development.
- At least 2 years of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python is required.
- Strong hands-on experience is required with distributed systems, cloud platforms, APIs, AI/ML systems, LLMs, GenAI frameworks, developer tools, CI/CD, and SDLC processes.
- Candidates must have built scalable platforms or frameworks used across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build GenAI platform capabilities, reusable AI skills, agents, MCP servers, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
- Develop reusable prompts, skills, and workflows, then establish validation frameworks for quality, accuracy, and robustness.
- Operationalize QGenie workflows and transform engineering processes into scalable AI-driven solutions.
